Much of the creative process unfolded during August, National Coffee Month, and the cup gradually became a symbol of fellowship itself: two writers sitting with questions, sharing ideas, creating poetry, and allowing conversation to become part of the work. A cup holds more than coffee when people are willing to talk. The book's Central Q&A takes readers deeper into the questions behind the poetry.
