The Unified Front

The distance that once separated the original Guardian Corps is about to collapse. As a global crisis orchestrated by a shadowy organization escalates at the new international installations, Major Julian Reed and First Sergeant David Thompson receive the orders they've been waiting for: mobilize their unit from Fort Horizon to assist their old comrades in a joint operation. The reunion is awkward and emotional, as the veterans realize how much they—and the world—have changed since their last mission together. Planning the offensive falls to LTC Benjamin Walker, whose high-level strategic decisions frequently clash with the boots-on-the-ground reality of the commanders in the field. While CW2 Alex Chen flies high-stakes reconnaissance into enemy territory, a seasoned Specialist Liam O'Connell leads a new generation of soldiers through their first baptism of fire. When an unexpected threat forces the unit to rely on a secret from their past to survive, a devastating decision by command creates a professional and personal rift that may never heal. In a final, climactic battle for the fate of the mission, the paths of the Guardian Corps converge one last time, leaving their lives changed forever.
