Ure Infectus

Ure Infectus Book One of Imperium Cicernus: The Chimera Adjustment In the Chimera Sector, the politicians fear the voters…because the voters have assassins. When Mayor Cantwell takes a bribe too far, a single shot ends his career—and leaves behind a hexagonal Timent Electorum insignia on his desk. The message is clear: the people have spoken. Justice has been served. Jericho is the Adjuster who pulled the trigger. A cold, calculating professional with decades of experience and a personal score to settle, he never expected one kill to drag him into a conspiracy that could topple the entire system. Investigator Masozi was first on the scene. A rising star in New Lincoln's law enforcement, she watched her superior bury the evidence and offer her a promotion to stay quiet. Instead, she followed the trail—and walked straight into Jericho's path. Now two enemies of the state are being hunted by the very government they once served. As they race across planets, dodging gene-modded killers, corporate mercenaries, and a president with plans that could burn entire worlds, they discover a secret older than the wormhole collapse itself. One wrong move and the Chimera Sector falls. One right move and they might just start a revolution. Ure Infectus is razor-sharp political sci-fi with the relentless pace of a thriller. Think The Expanse meets The Bourne Identity—in a future where democracy is enforced by bullet and ballot alike. If you love morally gray heroes, high-stakes intrigue, and the question "What if the voters could actually fire their leaders?", this is the book for you. Fear the voters. The Adjustment has begun.
