Vampire
Prologue In the farthest, uncharted shadows of the cosmos, a mysterious asteroid, a relic from a long-lost world obliterated over twenty millennia ago, hurtled through the void of space, a frozen titan of ancient wrath. Drawn into the gravitational embrace of a distant star, it spiralled recklessly toward an unsuspecting destination: Earth. As it breached the atmosphere with a deafening roar, its collision with the east coast of England sent shockwaves rippling through the local community, igniting curiosity in the minds of all who seen the spectacle. It's descent was mesmerising, drawing eyes to the heavens and fuelling curiosity with the mysteries of existence. Yet, as these probing eyes delved into the asteroid's origins, it became tragically clear that this was no ordinary celestial wanderer. As buried within its rocky surface lay an enigmatic artefact, a metallic casket cloaked in strange engravings that whispered of a lost civilisation. The casket was carried away to a nearby church perched high upon a hill, where many of the locals had quickly assembled. It became the focal point of a hurried investigation. With a mix of audacity and naïveté, the casket was opened, unaware of the cosmic horror that lay dormant within. In that electrifying moment of revelation, darkness was unleashed, unfurling like a malignant shadow, a creature born from nightmares, exuding a primal thirst for blood. Its existence defied the very laws of nature, a living embodiment of destruction poised to unleash chaos upon an unsuspecting, unprepared village and its surroundings. Breaking free from its confinement it surged forth with a singular purpose: annihilation. The fate of the community now hung in the balance before the insatiable hunger of what had been unwittingly unleashed. As the shadows of dread unfurled in the Surrounding villages of Whitby in the County of North Yorkshire, a deep-seated evil, awakened from its long slumber. Mankind, ever the intrepid seeker of knowledge, was reminded that certain secrets, those lurking in the recesses of the void of space, were perhaps best left undisturbed. As once again, the allure of the unknown beckoned humanity to venture perilously close to the abyss. For this to be a lesson. For not to mess with, what we don't truly understand.
