Miss Emma Collins hates being a wallflower and never understood how she'd been relegated to the unnoticeable ranks of the ton. Blake Spencer, Marquess of Ardmore, decides to attend a Christmastide house party out of sheer boredom. A friend persuades him that it might prove a good diversion. He is uncertain, until he realizes that a seemingly insignificant wallflower harbors Machiavellian plans that make it all worthwhile.
