What I Learned from Writing This Book Volume 3

You finished a book. It is done. It is ready to be uploaded for publication. But before you do, you need to ask a very important question,, "Did I learn anything from this?" If you don't ask it, how will you ever improve as a writer? If you say, "Good enough," and move on, you will not have a chance to discover the things you need to get better at. David Macpherson writes short books. His books are 50 to 80 pages on average. That gives him a lot of chances to think about what he could learn. This book goes through the books David finished in 2025. There are over 20 books he finished that he could learn from. What did he learn? That he sucks at keeping the correct tense. That sometimes a book needs to be put to the side for a spell. That there are some ideas that should not be written. He had one that he finished and published, but realized that it was a waste of a month of writing. How can he avoid that in the future? In a way this is a tutorial, where we follow a writer as he tries to improve his skill. In other ways, this is a memoir of a year of writing. Either way, there is worth in these entries. This third volume shows David going through changes in his life and yet he still finds a way to finish books and here he celebrates and kvetches about it all
