What shall we write? is an accessible, informative, inspirational and interactive guide to creative writing in its many forms for budding young authors. It contains introductory information on the building blocks of writing a story - such as characterisation, plotting, genre, use of language and dialogue - as well as enjoyable writing exercises, top tips and advice on getting your work published or self-publishing. There are activity pages on which you can write your ideas and complete the exercises.
