What We Risk

Nick never expected to fall in love with two women. Olivia never imagined she could love someone without constantly fearing that she would lose them. And Presley never believed she could find a relationship where she didn't have to choose between the people she loved. When Nick reconnects with Olivia and meets her close friend Presley, an unexpected attraction begins to grow between all three of them. What starts as undeniable chemistry soon becomes something deeper—and far more complicated. Olivia and Presley discover that their feelings for Nick are only part of the story. They are falling for each other too. But wanting each other is easier than figuring out how to make a relationship like theirs work. Jealousy forces them to confront their insecurities. Family expectations threaten the fragile life they are building. Outside judgment makes them question whether their love can survive. And each of them must decide how much they are willing to risk for something that doesn't fit the traditional definition of a relationship. Nick doesn't want to choose between Olivia and Presley. Olivia doesn't want fear to dictate who she can love. Presley doesn't want to walk away simply because staying is complicated. Together, they begin creating their own understanding of trust, commitment, honesty, and love—one conversation at a time. Because love cannot promise that nobody will get hurt. Sometimes, all it can offer is the choice to believe that what you have is worth the risk.
