It's about how each individual "took charge" of their life, which in reality is what everyone should do. It's often about going against the odds, yet in doing so a far more intimate reality emerges of joy. The stories are the feedback from shows and talk programmes that have been broadcast on radio in over 180 countries. Many of these countries have no endemic "social or lifestyle" content available, even in the UK or USA much information isn't so readily available because of the narrowness of organisations, taboos, religious biases, incompetence, historical cultural ideology, fear, media hype and negativity, ineptitude, embarrassment and much more.
