Hilary Mantel è stata un'autrice britannica. Ha scritto diversi romanzi, fra cui spicca la trilogia composta da Wolf Hall, Anna Bolena, una questione di famiglia e Lo specchio e la luce. Grazie ai primi due romanzi ha vinto il Man Booker Prize per ben due volte. Fazi Editore ha pubblicato in Italia anche La storia segreta della Rivoluzione, Al di la` del nero, Otto mesi a Ghazzah Street, Un esperimento d'amore e I fantasmi di una vita.
