In Among These Savage Thoughts, Astro Teller brings the reader a fable of internal struggle and personal rediscovery, incandescently imagined and visualized. The story weaves Lane, a young man in his last year as an apprentice assassin, into the fabulously foreign ancient town of Karabas.
