Young rabbits Buck and Do-Lee help to save themselves and others when danger appears in everyday life. They look to their parents for guidance when dealing with the unknown and in doing so learn valuable lessons about how to look after themselves and take care of others. Their adventures help the reader to understand the hidden dangers that can surface during children’s activities, especially when their parents are not present. The author seeks to highlight safety awareness and to remind children that they can avoid harm by looking to their parents, guardian or carer for guidance.
