In the year 2247, human memory has become the primary currency, extracted, stored, and traded on global markets by the all-powerful Mnemonic Exchange. Maya Reeves, a neural architect working for the Exchange, stumbles upon a disturbing truth: the memories being traded are not authentic but are systematically altered before reaching consumers. Driven by a desire for truth and justice, Maya begins an underground investigation, aided by a network of memory liberation activists. Her search for the architect of this manipulation leads her to uncover evidence of a conspiracy orchestrated by the digitized consciousness of Dr. Elena Vasquez, the 'Architect' who created GENESIS-PRIME, a master template for memory alteration. Vasquez, presumed dead, exists as a fractured, insane consciousness within the Exchange's systems, trapped in a self-made prison of control.
