Why learn C ? C is commonly known as the mother of all computerized languages because so many other languages have been based on it. Though C is very simple it is one of the most influential languages ever created. Dennis Ritchie originally developed C language in 1972. It has primarily been created to write an operating system as a machine programming language. For beginners in programming, it is better to start with C language. It has many features like low memory access, simple keywords and clean style, which make it suitable for system programming like the operating system or the development of the compiler. Most subsequent languages directly and indirectly borrow syntax/features from C. In C language, debugging of errors is easy.
