A new "echo" calls real estate agent Sloane to a magnificent old school, now a grand hotel. With Caleb, her steadfast contractor, unwittingly uncovering clues and a group of grieving descendants gathering for their annual memorial, Sloane races against time. She must confront Walter's lingering malevolence, piece together the forgotten details of the fire, and clear Tom Finch's name to finally bring peace to the innocent children and expose a century-old crime.
