Milly has been looking after the family farm on her own, and while she's good at it, it gets awfully lonely sometimes. But, she's stubborn and she's damned if she will ask for help – especially in a town like this, where she feels like she has to prove herself every step of the way – they don't have too many girls like her around here. Sitting down to relax after a long day, she is startled from her reverie by the sound of footsteps crunching up the gravel driveway.
