Lady Isadora Bevelstroke has always been the most solemn and straitlaced of all of her sisters. But as the eldest member of the family, and with a particular head for business, from an early age she has learned not to distract herself with nonsensical behavior. She is determined to succeed as a woman of independent means, and no one doubts her ability to do so.
