A Dark Invitation

Brad had always thought some of his neighbors were a bit odd, but he never expected to find a mysterious invitation taped to his door late one night.It was a simple note that read: "Dear Brad, I'm throwing a small get-together this evening at my place. I'll be expecting you. It doesn't matter what time you arrive, we're going to be going all night. Wear whatever you wish, anything goes. The address is at the bottom. Please come. You won't regret it. A neighbor." At first, Brad was hesitant and suspected it was some sort of joke. But as he thought more about it, he realized that the invitation was too intriguing to pass up. So, he arrived at the house, dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, ready to see what the night would bring.The door was answered by a rather clean cut and conservative looking older man. Needless to say, Brad was intrigued.The man took Brad down into the basement where he was greeted by a group of five other men, all of whom he had never met before, though a few looked vaguely familiar. Maybe he'd seen them around the neighborhood? It was a diverse group, ranging in age and social status. They were all different, except for one thing: they all seemed straight, to the point that it made Brad feel nervous and out of place.Who were these men?Why had Brad been invited to meet with them in the middle of the night?Was this some sort of intervention?Had it been decided Brad and his lifestyle could no longer be tolerated? One thing seemed clear to him – there was a strong element of danger in the tastefully decorated, but dimly lit basement. But then he sensed another, more confusing thing – a dark, throbbing, sexual energy was also present.He couldn't help but feel he'd been invited to a secret meeting, one that few knew existed.As Brad's eyes went from man to man, he began to realize these men knew each other very well.But what was the purpose of this group?Why had he been invited?
