Joshua has been capturing dreams of his late mother and brother for the past 22 years. He was born in 1979 and conceived through a sexual assault. His mother, Kathy, raised him as a single parent in the New York City area. Joshua’s brother, Matthew, was 11 years older and primarily resided with his father in New England. Kathy and Matthew were everything and made up Joshua’s immediate family. Kathy passed away at age 55 in November 2002 from cancer, and Matthew passed away at age 35 only 19 months later in June 2004 from diabetes. Joshua has been documenting his dreams of Matthew and their mother for the past two decades. Dreamcatcher consists of nearly 50 dreams along with interpretations and afterthoughts.
