Embracing Dove

Harper Anderson had a strong testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She may not have always lived it, mostly due to her mother, but she had never fully lost her testimony. The little spark of faith she had left was what had helped her get through the last five years. It was what she was leaning on now. She was on the run from her abusive ex-husband with her four-year-old daughter and newborn son. She would do anything to keep them safe but when her car crashes on the Henry River Ranch, she is forced to confront a ghost from her past. Carter Michaels had been her brother's best friend. She hadn't seen him in over ten years, not since her parents' divorce. But when he and the other men that live on the ranch offer Harper and her kids a much needed safe haven, she takes it. Carter had once been a huge part of her life, he even had a special nickname for her, Dove. Harper had been smitten with him but all that was a thing of the past. As Harper rediscovers her faith in Christ, she witnesses miracles among her many trials. With her new found strength, Harper and her kids begin to heal from all the hurt they had endured. But the feelings she thought she had buried a long time ago resurface, and Harper must decide if she is willing to fully trust again. Harper finds just how true being called Dove is, as she finds peace, love, and new beginnings.
