It is a synthetic graveyard where ships vanish and radar goes blind. And for Kael, stranded on its shifting, toxic crust, it is the only ground left. But the isolation is not what keeps her awake. It is the sound coming from beneath her feet. The garbage didn't just gather here by accident. It was collected. Something is moving beneath the layers of wet refuse—something that has evolved in the chemical soup, adapting our waste into its weapon. As the synthetic floor begins to fracture and a typhoon rolls in, Kael must survive a landscape where every step is a trap, and where the only thing deeper than the ocean is the hunger waiting in the dark.
