This is the account of Jesus’ first disciples, and he chose them after he was baptized by John the Baptist. You can find these biblical accounts in your bible from the following scriptures listed here: Matthew 8:23–27; Mark 1:17–20; Mark 4:36–41; Luke 5:4–11; and Luke 6:12–16 The next day John saw Jesus coming towards him, and he said, “Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world! This is the person, I said after I will come a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. And I knew him not: but that he should be made visible to Israel, therefore, am I come baptizing with water to repentance.” And John testified, “I saw the Spirit descending from Heaven like a dove, and it sat on him.” “And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said to me, ‘On whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he who baptizes with the Holy Ghost and fire.’ And I saw, and witnessed that this is the Son of God.” The next day John stood up with two of his disciples; And looking on Jesus as he walked, he said, “Behold the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world!”
