Un must per tutti gli appassionati della seminale prog metal band canadese! I Voivod hanno annunciato l’uscita di un mastodontico cofanetto in arrivo il prossimo 29 luglio via BMG. Intitolato FORGOTTEN IN SPACE, il box set contiene le ristampe dei lavori pubblicati dalla thrash band canadese via Noise Records negli anni ’80: dal brutale Rrröööaaarrr (1986) al seminale concept cyber thrash di Killing Technology (1987) e fino allo sperimentalismo prog metal di Dimension Hatröss (1988). Il cofanetto sarà disponibile in versione 5 LP e 5 CD e conterrà inoltre le ristampe di No Speed Limit Live ’86 e Dimension Hatröss – The Demos (entrambi per la per la prima volta in vinile), oltre al DVD Chaosmonhgers, che raccoglie un mini-documentario con interviste, esibizioni dal vivo, dietro le quinte e clip promozionali dal 1985 al 1989, il video inedito di live a Chicago 88 e l’audio del leggendario concerto tenuto dal quartetto al World War III festival nel 1985. A rifinire la riedizione un booklet di 44 pagine con nuove note di copertina, interviste al batterista Michel Langevin in cui lo stesso racconta i primi anni di vita della band al giornalista musicale Jerry Ewing e una carrellata di foto d’epoca inedite. La versione in vinile è inoltre arricchita della chiavetta USB, Korgüll the Exterminator, con dentro tutti gli album in versione espansa, oltre a rarità demo e live.
