From Artifice to Starlight

Sometimes it is exhilarating to let the imagination off the leash and allow it to wander where it will. Most of these little tales explore in one way or another what is real and what is not. They include a view of the world from an angelic viewpoint, a disappearance which may or may not have supernatural origins and a physicist faced with the question of whether anything at all is truly real. Along the way we meet a spy who is forced to become a detective and we venture into mysterious other realities where the usual conventions of what is possible become stretched or even irrelevant.
