From Jannah with Love

Octavius Isaac Etienne, a wild and brash young Haitian-Canadian student living in Ottawa, Ontario, feels spiritually barren and lost after getting excommunicated from his old-fashioned Haitian Church. They've had it with his misdeeds this time. Feeling lost, shunned by his community, Octavius finds solace in a most unlikely place. Jannah Kumar, the headstrong and beautiful daughter of a Guyanese Indian Muslim immigrant family. Jannah teaches Octavius about Islam, and they end up falling in love. Thus their troubles begin. Octavius and Jannah's respective families race against time to stop their union due to cultural and religious differences. Against such odds, do they even have a prayer ?
