1967, New York

Produttore cinematografico e televisivo, sceneggiatore, musicista e compositore, oltre che romanziere. È l'autore della serie televisiva Bones, trasmessa anche in Italia con successo, oltre che di Fargo. Laureato in Scienze Politiche, ha esordito nella narrativa con il thriller A Conspiracy of Tall Men. Con l'amico Dave Eggers ha fondato "826 Valencia", un programma di sostegno alla scrittura per insegnanti e studenti tra i 6 e i 18 anni. Mondadori nel 2013 ha pubblicato il suo romanzo Un bravo padre. Per Einaudi invece è uscito nel 2017 Prima di cadere.
