Contiene le versioni estese delle hit e raccoglie alcuni dei brani più amati estratti dagli album di debutto come Hit To Death In The Future Head (1992) insieme alle musiche di Zaireeka (1997), The Flaming Lips And Heady Fwends (2012) e The Terror (2013).È la prima volta che la band presenta i singoli estrapolati dagli album Transmissions From The Satellite Heart (1993), Clouds Taste Metallic (1995), The Soft Bulletin (1999), Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots (2002), At War With The Mystics (2006), Embryonic (2009) e quello attuale Oczy Mlody (2017).Contenuti anche i singoli lati B, i tagli di studio e molti brani inediti.
L’audio è stato rimasterizzato dai nastri originali dei Flaming Lips con la produzione di Dave Fridmann al Tarbox Road Studios.

L'ho acquistato perché scontato del 30% pur non essendo un fan dei gratest hits. Considerata la varietà della musica scritta negli anni dai Flaming Lips, un gratest hits di 50 tracce non risulta di facile ascolto, anche perché non amo tutti i loro album. L'unità dei singoli album si perde. Probabilmente è più godibile la versione vinile con sole 11 tracce.
