    I am incredibly touched by Dave Heyhoe and Treo's story and I am grateful to him to allow those of us who have no idea what it is like out there, fighting in Afghanistan. This book is a brutally honest and true account of the bloodshed and fear as experienced by soldiers in this Taliban-infested country, working for long stretches at a time under intolerable conditions. Dave Heyhoe built up an extremely close working relationship with his dog and with the courageous men of his unit. How strong and deep the bond is between man and dog. Highly recommended.
