Jessie and the Beast

Jessie and Shawn Nightwine continue their battle to legitimize their marriage and family. Joshua Natimate, a powerful attorney and the astral messiah, refuses to drop his case against them. It angers Jessie that her best friend fights her so mercilessly in court, but a much bigger threat soon presents itself and distracts her from the trials. The Vashnevee, a formidable, immortal force of beings, do not care about legal proceedings or fair trials. They demand one of two immediate solutions: the death of their mortal enemy, Shawn, or the murder of all Nightwine children. Jessie is forced to seek help from those she betrayed in the not-so-distant past. Tensions remain high between Jessie and her family, but they manage to pull together in an attempt to hide the babies and to figure out how to defeat the immortals, a seemingly impossible task.
