Emma Chapman è nata nel 1985 ed è cresciuta a Manchester. Ha studiato Letteratura alla Edinburgh University e ha seguito un master in Creative writing al Royal Holloway della University of London. Dopo l’università ha viaggiato in Scandinavia. Vive a Perth, in Australia. Come essere una brava moglie (Feltrinelli, 2013) è il suo primo romanzo.
