Ava Reid è un'autrice statunitense. Dopo essersi laureata in scienze politiche, si è dedicata alla scrittura. Il suo stile è stato fortemente influenzato dalla letteratura gotica, grazie alla passione per Shirley Jackson e Mervyn Peake. Tra i suoi libri pubblicati in Italia, A Study in Drowning.
