Kalynn Bayron è una autrice di romanzi fantasy YA come Cinderella Is Dead - Cenerentola è morta, edito da Fandango in Italia nel 2024 (nel 2020 negli Stati Uniti è stato Wordery Children’s Book of the Year Winner), e This Poison Heart. Tra i suoi lavori, il romanzo horror YA You’re Not Supposed to Die Tonight e l’avventura paranormale The Vanquishers.

È stata candidata alla CILIP Carnegie Medal, tre volte candidata al CYBILS Award, finalista al LOCUS Award e vincitrice del Randall Kenan Award 2022 per la narrativa Lgbtq nera.
