Catriona Ward è una scrittrice di romanzi horror. La sua famiglia si è spostata spesso e lei è cresciuta in tutto il mondo: Stati Uniti, Kenya, Madagascar, Yemen, Marocco. Ha studiato inglese alla St Edmund Hall di Oxford e si è laureata al Master in Scrittura Creativa della University of East Anglia. Il suo quarto romanzo, il thriller gotico Sundial (2022) è stato il thriller del mese dell'Observer e segnalato da USA Today, CNN e Apple Books.
