Love’s Been Rough On Me is a 1997 album by the Matriarch of R&B, Etta James. Her versatility and powerful voice bridged the gap between rhythm and blues and rock and roll. All the songs on the album sounds fresh and she really can rock in these blues influenced country songs. It’s one those wonderful examples of an album from an artist who has been active in the music scene for many years.
