Love's Icarus

Icarus ignored his father's warning, flew too close to the sun and his wings melted plunging him into the ocean. Love's Icarus translates to being warned not to fall too deeply in love such that you cannot extricate yourself from the emotional damage that follows after a break up . This collection of poetry, titled Love's Icarus, explores the volatile spectrum of human emotion, ranging from the euphoria of new romance to the desolation of loss.
