After the tragic loss of his mother, Igor was forsaken both emotionally and physically by his father and grandfather. Closest to neglect, they banished him overseas, where he was left to fend for himself. Years later, he was called back home from abroad by his father, only to find that his cold-hearted family was conspiring to pawn him off in matrimony to a Moretti playboy, purely for profits.
