1955, Stoccolma

Contralto svedese. Debuttò nel 1981 in concerto e nel 1983 in teatro (Alcina in Orlando paladino di Haydn), specializzandosi nell'opera settecentesca, spesso in ruoli en travesti (Cherubino nelle Nozze di Figaro, Orfeo nell'Orfeo ed Euridice di Gluck, Tancredi ecc.). Ha effettuato numerose incisioni e svolge un'intensa attività concertistica.

Trevor Pinnock

1946, Canterbury

Clavicembalista e direttore d'orchestra inglese. Concertista di fama internazionale soprattutto nel repertorio barocco, nel 1973 ha fondato il complesso strumentale English Concert, specializzato in esecuzioni filologiche con strumenti originali, a cui ha affiancato nel 1983 un analogo complesso vocale. Con queste formazioni ha realizzato pregevoli incisioni discografiche di concerti di Corelli, Vivaldi, Bach, nonché del Messiah di Händel e della Didone ed Enea di Purcell.
