The populace resorts to violence in their attempt to instigate reform, taking justice into their own hands. Nions struggle to retain power for their leader. All the while, several of the mighty armored Valiant mercenaries attempt to break their Conditioned loyalty to gain their freedom from their oppressive dictator. ? Tangent—The Sovereign Inquisition: In the long months leading up to the next war, the People begin to see that their method of government isn’t as stable as they had hoped. What little control the Assembly had is quickly falling out of their grasp as their precious Hazard Codes disappear. The Assembly blames the Sovereigns and places a bounty on the former royals. But there are those who resist, knowing that the Sovers still have integral skills that will reshape the future of the dying People’s Order.
