Pigeons have a new meaning from now on
This was a pretty emotional read, but I think it was more about the theme than Colleen Hoover’s writing. I really liked the letters Kenna writes to Scotty (but please, never let her write a poem ever again). I was not convinced about the romance in the book, it felt to insta-love and not genuine. I absolutely despise the child name and the reasoning behind. If I were Diem, I’d never want to meet my mother. What monster name her child Carpe Diem?! Lastly, I felt like the last part of the book was pretty rushed. The forgiveness and acceptance was way too fast and we practically speed until the end. I’d have liked that part to be more developed.
