Thinking we are alone, based on the sentences in our brain or the sensations in our body - and feeling broken because of them - dictates so many of our decisions. So much shame. We use food, alcohol, sugar, shopping, or our phones as rewards, punishments, or distractions. We have crappy boundaries or no boundaries at all.
