This story is dark and disturbing and the contents appalling.
Sexual abuse/incest was an aspect of the plot. I found the book an uncomfortable and upsetting read, nor did I find it "delicously written" as advertised, too much slang and not well written. In my opinion it does not deserve the praise its been given.
Furthermore, I wouldn't classify it as a thriller, nor a suspense. There were moments I wasn't too fond of the story and the characters. Not for me.
