Samuel, the last of Israel's judges, is tasked with choosing the nation's first king, a king who decides to rule in his own strength rather than in God's. Samuel must find a replacement, but placing him on the throne will be no easy task. Anointed as King by the prophet, David must now prove himself worthy of the crown.
