The Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) Encyclopedia is a Fair Use collection of all science courses covered from High School, College and University. This is for Fair Use education curriculum or application sciences in line with the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) including Special Education needs which have previously been under resourced in materials. The book follows the year-by-year, term-by-term, lesson by lesson syllabus for each of the STEM subjects namely Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Home Science. Mathematics, Metalwork, Physics and Woodwork that are taught at all the previously mentioned levels. The Fair Use publication of this book, providing video links for each subject, topic and subtopic was important for various academic reasons and justifications, aside from being learner centered and addressing the Seven Core Competencies areas of CBC. These are communication and collaboration between learners and teachers; learning to learn; citizenship; imagination and creativity of learners; self-efficacy of the learners against any adversities or challenges; digital literacy. First, there is hardly any book that is exclusively presented in video link formats despite the obvious pedagogical advantages. The paper back copy can also be accessible as a STEM Education Access Equalizer, which learners and teachers, at own pace, can quickly open, paste, click and view various lessons on demand or convenience, either as first time reference, revision or mastering of skills and lessons. Second, all STEM subjects which are normally taught or demonstrated once in the students' life at laboratory / workshop / field are available in the STEM Encyclopedia and these give students' flexibility of learning and revising for exams whether at school or during holidays from home. Third, most schools often cannot afford the timetable and resources for repeating the laboratory / workshop /field experiments which are now available in accredited and acknowledged video format. These online tuitions, laboratory, field and workshop videos also come in handy for learners to master laboratory, workshop, field safety, equipment handing and procedural rehearsals without stretching the learning institutions' resources. Fourth, in this STEM Encyclopedia there are videos for field and equipment skills enhancement for the Agricultural subjects. There are videos in cooking, laundry and hygiene for the Home Science lessons to develop performance of tasks. There are workshop videos for Woodwork and Metalwork to enhance the learners mastery of associated technology including using computer-aided design (CAD) software for design work. Through hands-on learning, students are able to explore their creativity, develop practical skills, and apply scientific and mathematical concepts in meaningful and practical ways. Fifth, access to STEM education in the various levels is often hindered by institutional, learner or teacher factors, further impacting proficiency and CBC mastery. At institutional level, some learners do not have enough STEM teachers, hence lag behind in learning. At learner level, any form of absenteeism due to either illness, personal reasons or closure of learning institution can lead to missing out on vital laboratory / workshop / field practical lessons which are not easy to redo as the termly timetable must proceed as earlier scheduled. At the teacher level, their absenteeism can also affect the learners and affect their final grades. Sixth, the STEM Encyclopedia comes in handy to fill the learning gaps including enhancing the performance of those who learn better by viewing as opposed to listening to the teacher.
