The story follows an undefeated and overconfident professional boxer who, bored with his easy victories, intentionally provokes his own downfall to find a genuine challenge. He deliberately assaults a celebrity at a movie premiere, ensuring his arrest, conviction, and a ten-year sentence at Longwood State Correctional Facility, the state's most dangerous prison. Inside Longwood, which operates with a fighter ranking system from 1 to 100, the boxer begins a brutal and violent climb through the ranks. He engages in a series of fights, defeating inmate after inmate, and rapidly ascends the hierarchy, solidifying his reputation as a formidable force. His ultimate goal is to face and defeat Longwood's current number one ranked fighter, the undisputed champion of the prison. The narrative builds towards this climactic confrontation, exploring whether the protagonist's raw talent and thirst for adversity can overcome an opponent who has been hardened by the extreme environment of maximum-security incarceration.
