David’s inaugural song of thanksgiving at the Tabernacle of David (1 Chronicles 16) that describes someone who “fears and loves to think about God” (Malachi 3:16-18). The Tabernacle of David, initiated by God, was a statement of peace with all those, Jew and Gentile, who seek His forgiveness and grace. And it is these He invites to celebrate the reconciliation between God and man with song, praise and thanksgiving.
