2,000 Years After the End of the World... 10 jewels were fashioned to enhance, protect, extend and heal. 10 jewels for 10 children. Children who must grow up and bear a heavy burden. Warriors, seers, sorcerers, rulers, conquerors... That was The Plan. The earth was recovering. The skies were clearing, the air was warming, life began to burgeon again. But one man saw in a vision that this resumption would spell the end of humanity. Mankind would grow and prosper and then, they would recover the Old Knowledge. The Forbidden Wisdom. Once again they would possess the machines of destruction, and this time, they would finish what they had started so long ago. They would utterly extinguish themselves. All of humanity would perish, a final and complete extinction event. To stop this, the man conceived a mad scheme and planted the seeds for the Siblings, exceptional men and women who would be burdened with a great task, to stop the spread of such knowledge, if only for a time. But The Plan seemed impossible to implement, too many factors beyond the man's control, chaos warring with his notion of order. And the man had colleagues who broke away and saw his idea as a great evil and would do anything to stop it. And now, in the fracturing of his designs, as the Siblings begin to discover the fate manufactured for them, they will come to a time of choosing. Success will involve death and destruction and hatred for 100 years. Failure could mean annihilation. What path will the Siblings choose?
