True Love, Volume 2

God, JEHOVAH (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), is love, and therefore a fundamental pillar of the person and word of God is God’s love. JEHOVAH sent his only begotten Son, Jesus, into the world because he loved mankind. Through study of Genesis 3:15 readers will learn that God made provision for the redemption of fallen mankind through a Savior. Jesus the Messiah is God’s provision for the reconciliation of mankind with God. Hence, the ultimate demonstration of God’s love to mankind is God becoming a man and giving himself as the required sacrifice for salvation for those who will confess Jesus with their mouth and believe in their heart that God raised him from the dead. Volume 2 begins with an exploration of 1 Corinthians, particularly focusing on chapters 12 and 13, in which the way of love is exemplified. The inclusion of biblical books for each chapter in the series is based on their explicit saturation with the word/concept of love, determined by the number of times the word love/charity is included in the text and weighed against the number of chapters in each book—though every book of the Bible indeed centers around the love of God.
