Truth Be Told, Mariana

After a scolding from the future members of her team as a Police Advocate Officer to cope with her past and get a handle on her behavior with help and guidance from Chief Greene, Captain Tremaine, her husband Carl and Detective Tracy, Mariana feels it is time to get counseling. At the mention of Lee, the junior detective discovers the possibility she may have a learning disability, which has been a contributing factor to her outbursts and behavior. Losing two jobs was out of her control. The threat of losing a key role that could guide the police and assist the citizens of San Melida, Mariana decides to take a stand. Mariana prepares and knows what she must do to take on an upper level and high stress position when assigned to assist Detective Tracy in finding Eden Tremaine's whereabouts. She, along with Lee, have no idea when they arrive in their search of answers where the trip will go, where it will lead, and to whom. Determined to put her best foot forward and prove herself, Mariana meets unsuspecting figures that lead to more secrets. When an unlikely woman appears who seems to have answers for the San Melida Police force giving them a chance to close the file on the Agatha Richland murder, Mariana is dragged back into the mystery. In the final chapters, Mariana must stand on her own and face an unlikely person of her past. Will she get all the answers she has been searching for or will the mystery woman bring more danger to Mariana?
