Miss Kitty Felton is the bubbly cup of tea one looks forward to in the morning. She sees a ray of sunshine in any calamity. Working as a knocker-upper, she heads out as her father comes home from his job as a nightwatchman. Her newest client is a handsome man, though she's only seen his head as he waves from the window to show he has risen. She's a silly romantic who dreams of Mr. Cooper falling in love with her. Mr. Benjamin Cooper is a solicitor. Raised by Paddy O'Brien and his wife, his role in the family investigative service is to provide legal advice and help to bring cases to court.
