The Brenta Dolomites are home to a unparalleled diversity of environments, views, and walking and hiking opportunities, from the splendid valleys surrounded by impressive rock faces such as Val d’Ambiéz, Val Brenta, Val delle Seghem Valle di S. Maria Flavona, Val di Tovel, to the daring ledge routes that cut across the vertical faces, exceeding 3000 metres in height. Hundreds of peaks and pillars, dominated by giants like Cima Brenta, Cima Tosa, Crozzòn di Brenta, Torre di Brenta and Pietra Grande, enhanced and enriched by the superbly audacious and beautiful Campanile Basso. And as if all that beauty were not enough, the Dolomitic eastern side of the valley is accompanied by a more alpine west side reminiscent of the Aosta Valley. Here, the lofty peaks are surrounded by the pleasant glacial lakes of the Presanella and Adamello groups, a world of meadows, rocks and water that abound with colour and tranquillity.
